Three local walk-in vaccination centres to open over long weekend

The centres are open to anyone over the age of 16 who is looking to get the first dose of a vaccine.

The location of the local walk-in Covid-19 vaccinations centres has been revealed.

They'll be open across the Bank Holiday weekend for people with or without a vaccine appointment.

Centres are open across the region this weekend.

Leitrim's centre is open at the Primary Care Unit in Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday from 10am to 4pm.

Clonguish GAA Club in Longford will be open for walk-in vaccinations on Friday from 8am to 8pm.

Roscommon's centre meanwhile will be open at the Abbey Hotel from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly said the centres are available for anyone who hasn't already received a vaccine, or those who already have an appointment scheduled.
