Three towns across the region are to receive €100,000 each as part of new rural regeneration funding.

The streetscape Enhancement Initiative will help towns to improve the face of their buildings, carry out artwork or install features such as street furniture or canopies.

2.6 million euro was announced today by Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys for a town in each of the 26 counties.
