Three appear in court over Roscommon drug seizure

Three men have appeared in Court today charged in relation to the seizure of €700,000 worth of drugs in Roscommon. Gardaí raided a property in Loughglynn on Tuesday where they found cannabis herb and cannabis plants.

Three men, aged in their 30s, were arrested on suspicion of drug-trafficking and appeared before a special sitting of Roscommon District Court this afternoon. The investigation was part of Operation Tara, the Garda strategy targeting the distribution of illegal drugs.
