Almost 8,000 people in Tenerife have been evacuated or told to stay indoors due to an out-of-control wildfire.
The blaze in the north of the island is being fought by about 350 firefighters and Spanish army members.
The regional president said it has spread across almost 30 kilometres with the island's capital, Santa Cruz just 20 kilometres from the flames.
