Roscommon Galway TD Claire Kerrane says it's imperative that funding is put in place to allow for the full opening of services at the eMental hub in Castlerea.
The centre, which was the former Rosalie care home, was re-purposed to deliver a CAMS connect service for young people and a day hospital for psychiatry of later life patients.
However, while funding for four staff members for the CAMS service was provided, there was no funding this year for remaining positions, including any for later life care.

Having received a response in the Dail from Minister Eamon Ryan who says he was not aware of the issue, Deputy Kerrane says she is writing to the Minister for Health to impress upon him the need for the funding to be put in place:
