This year's National Famine Commemoration event will be held in Roscommon.
The Taoiseach is set to attend the event in Strokestown Park, on Sunday, 15th May.
The ceremony will include military honours and a wreath-laying ceremony in remembrance of all those who suffered or perished during the Famine.
It will be broadcast on the TV but will not be open to the public.
This will be the second time that the commemoration has been held in Strokestown having been previously held there in 2014.
