Gale force winds and debris has caused electricity outages across the Shannonside Northern sound region with thousands without power.
One of the worst affected areas is Lanesboro in south Longford where over 3,000 people are without power.
600 further customers near Keenagh are also without power and over 1200 customers in Longford town are also without electricity
Over 1700 customers in Ballinasloe are without electricity and over 1200 in Roscommon town.
1,000 customers in Athleague as well as 1,200 in Ballygar are without power at present while issues persist in the wider Athlone area, where 1300 customers are without power in Glasson,
In Leitrim, around 800 are without power in Arigna, and just under 200 in the Drumshanbo area as well as 200 in Carrick-on-Shannon and 90 in Cootehall.
