A status yellow rain warning is in place for the entire country today - until 3am tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a status orange rain warning is in place for Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather says more settled weather is on the way.

"The rain will clear away on Monday, and while there will be some showers for the rest of the week, it does look like generally much more settled weather and very little rainfall for the rest of the week after Monday."
