Status Orange rainfall warning issued for all of Shannonside region

In the past few minutes Met Eireann has updated it's weather warning to orange.

It's warning of intense rainfall for 13 counties including Cavan while Monaghan will be under a yellow warning overnight tonight.

Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says that local intense rainfall is likely and its expected there will be strong winds also.
