Sports clubs across the region are being invited to apply for the "Texaco Support for Sport" grant.
The fourth Texaco sport grant initiative is to offer a fund of a total of €130,000 to successful applicants across the country, out of which €5000 will be earmarked to each sports club. Over the past few years, a number of local sports clubs received the funding, among which are Tremane GAA Club in Roscommon, Longford Rugby Football Club, and Carrick Town FC in Leitrim. The funding is open to all sports clubs, aiming to recognise and support their contribution to communities throughout Irish society.
The closing date for applications is the 31st January 2024.
