Special TV tribute to be paid following passing of local bookbinder

The Athlone bookbinder is known for his appearance on RTE One's Angelus.

A special tribute will be paid this evening to local antiquarian bookbinder Declan Browne who passed away yesterday.

The Athlone business owner of Liturgical Book Restorers is best known for his 8-year stint on RTE One's Angelus.

He will be remembered tonight at 6pm with a final broadcast of the Angelus slot on RTE in which he featured.
