The lack of opportunity for community fundraising for the past 2 years has led to a lot of financial difficulties for local services and facilities

A South Roscommon Community Centre is urging the public to get behind a vital fundraising drive for the service.

St John’s Community centre in Lecarrow has seen it's income dry up over the last 18 months due to the pandemic's effect on fundraising.

The centre, which provides a base to a range of local groups, has now had a Go Fund me campaign started to keep the doors open as Covid restrictions continue to ease.
