This month's meeting of Ballymahon Municipal District has heard about the need to urgently address growing issues at a local amenity.
Owing to the upturn in weather conditions, increased number of visitors have been accessing Barley Harbour, close to Newtowncashel.
Cllr Martin Skelly says some motorists are parking in an uncoordinated manner, while litter continues to be left behind.

Earlier this year, Longford County Council secured a long-term lease for the amenity.
