A local TD has accused the National Ambulance Service of downgrading advanced paramedic cover for Roscommon. Sinn Féin's Claire Kerrane was speaking in the Dáil this morning. She said the Rapid Response vehicle which covers the county has been removed on Thursdays, leaving local patients vulnerable.
The Sinn Féin TD also claimed the National Ambulance Service has stopped training advanced paramedics. Deputy Kerrane says she wants to see the service restored full-time to the county.
