A Shannonside TD claims the HSE isn't being transparent with the Health Minister on contract tracing in meat plants.

Roscommon Galway Deputy Denis Naughten is calling on the health authority to provide accurate figures on the number of close contacts of those with Covid-19.

The meat industry has been called to prepare a statement for the Covid 19 Dáil committee.

He says either Simon Harris was given the wrong figures or his comments last week were inaccurate.

Deputy Naughten says the minister may have inadvertently misled the Dáil.
