Serious overcrowding levels are continuing at Sligo Hospital this week.
43 people are on trolleys at the Northwest facility this afternoon, 30 of which are in the ED with a further 13 on wards.
According to the INMO trolley watch the number of people waiting for a bed exceeded 40 on three days this week.

Meanwhile just 1 person is waiting on a trolley at Portiuncula Hospital this afternoon, with a further 5 in Mullingar Hospital and 20 at University Hospital Galway.
