Staffing issues have delayed the rollout of later life psychiatric services at the E-Health Centre in Castelrea.
Minister for Mental Helath and Older People Mary Butler confirmed that a non-Consultant hospital doctor has taken up duties but an additional six posts are still undergoing recruitment.
It can currently take up to 50 weeks for backdated roles to be filled.

The Fianna Fail Senator welcomed that some services were operational but called for the centre to be fully up and running as quickly as possible.
