The former billionaire says accusations claiming he masterminded the violence 'defy logic'.

Sean Quinn says he is the biggest victim in what has happened locally over the past ten years.

The former billionaire has been speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show in the week three men were found guilty of assaulting and falsely imprisoning Kevin Lunney.

The Quinn Group of businesses was succeeded by QIH, now Mannock, after the companies entered liquidation and were bought by American private equity funds.

Sean Quinn says while people may believe he deserves it, he has been the biggest victim following the events of the last decade.

He says his view on the attack hasn't changed in the two years since, maintaining that "it shouldn't have happened, it was a barbaric act".

Discussion in the case has now turned on those ultimately responsible, or the so-called "paymasters" behind the violence towards the Mannock directors.

Quinn believes he is the person being referenced in this commentary but dismisses the accusations.

Speaking to the Joe Finnegan Show, the former Billionaire says the accusations 'defy logic'.
