Russian Embassy condemn damage caused by Leitrim trucker to gates

The Russian Embassy says it condemns what it calls a "criminal act of insanity", after a truck was reversed through its gates earlier.

A man, believed to be from Leitrim, has been arrested following the incident at 1.30 this afternoon on Orwell Road in Dublin.

In a statement, the Embassy said it believes "no people of sound mind could support such senseless and barbaric actions."
