RUH warning patients to expect delays in some services due to cyber attack

Roscommon University Hospital is reporting considerable issues as a result of a cyber attack on the HSE's computer systems.

A number of outpatient appointments have been cancelled and these patients have been contacted directly. These appointments will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

All x-ray appointments have been cancelled.

Patients can expect delays in all clinics and in the Injury Unit today as existing IT systems are not in use and the manual workarounds are time-consuming.
