The long-term advanced paramedic vacancy in Roscommon could be filled by early next year. Director of the National Ambulance Service Robert Morton says the county has been earmarked for the role in 2026. It comes after Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane raised the issue at the Oireachtas Joint Health Committee this week. Mr Morton says the advanced paramedic for Roscommon will come from the next training cohort in January.
