Roscommon train service delayed following incident at level crossing

Roscommon train services are delayed by almost an hour this evening due to an incident at a level crossing earlier today.

It's understood a vehicle crashed into a barrier in Castlerea shortly before half-past-two.

Gardai attended the scene and a traffic management system is now in place.

Irish Rail say the 13:10 Westport/Heuston service was impacted by the incident and a crew are now en route to repair the crossing.
