A Pop-Up Covid test centre is opening its doors in Roscommon town this morning.
It follows a large increase in in Covid cases in the last few weeks. The 'Walk-In' facility is open on Monday and Tuesday of this week at the Roscommon Arts Centre from 11a.m. to 5p.m. each day.
Roscommon recorded 100 cases of the virus, between June 16th and June 29th, giving the county a 14-day incidence rate of 154.9 — the fourth highest in the country behind Donegal, Waterford and Sligo.
A HSE Pop-Up Testing Centre will operate in Athlone, on the former St Aloysuis College site, Deerpark Road ( N37 RR 60) from 10am - 4pm commencing for two days each week, for three weeks on Tuesday 6th and Friday 9th July and Tuesday 13th and Friday 16th July and Tuesday 20th and Friday 23rd July.
