A Roscommon town is currently being identified as a potential stop off as part of the CIE Bus Tour of Ireland.
Representatives from both Failte Ireland and CIE Tours visited Boyle recently to look at the tourism offering of the area.
Council officials as well as members of Boyle Town Team conducted site visits of King House, Boyle Abbey and Lough Key Forest Park.

Product Sales and Distribution Manager for Failte Ireland, Martin Donnelly, was part of the trip and heard of the many developments planned for the North Roscommon town.
It's now hoped Boyle can be included as a tourist destination on the CIE schedule.
