A new major music festival has been confirmed for a Roscommon town later this year.
The festival will take place in Castlerea in September for up to 3000 people at a site outside of the town.
The as of yet unnamed event is will feature three stages under big-top tents and will be capable of holding a total of 2,800 attendees.

The event is being described as a family-friendly event and will take place on the 24th and 25th of September.
Announcing the agreement today, local councillor Pascal Fitzmaurice says the Festival will be officially unveiled early next month:
