Roscommon priest outlines changes to church ahead of resumption of masses this month

A Roscommon parish priest has been outlining how his local church intends to re-open to services and masses later this month. Fr Michael Donnelly

A Roscommon parish priest has been outlining how his local church intends to re-open to services and masses later this month.

Fr Michael Donnelly is the parish priest of Frenchpark/Tibohone/Fairymount and Ballinagare and made a short video shared on Facebook on how different churches will look from now on with social distancing in place.

He outlines that only 30 people will be allowed in the church for masses and that hand sanitiser will be available at the front door which will now the only entrance.

No basket collections for donation but instead a bucket will be made available at the main door.

Some seats have also entirely closed off to allow for the two-metre distance rule.
