A Roscommon native who’s cycling the 1,100km ancient east route for three local charities will finish his mammoth challenge later today.
Niall McGauran is a member of the ultra cyclists who this week have been pedaling from Derry to Kinsale in just four days.
The group hope to raise over 50,000 euro for Mayo/Roscommon Hospice, turn2me.ie and Hooves for Hospice, a campaign which is raising funds for the planned building of the midlands regional hospice.
The Kilmore native says huge efforts have been made by all participants and they’re looking forward to reaching their final destination later tonight.
