Roscommon Gardaí investigating criminal damage at local filling station

Gardaí in Roscommon are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí were called to a filling station on the Athlone Road in the town at around 4:30am.

Roscommon and Longford fire services also attended the scene and brought a fire on the forecourt under control.

The scene is currently being preserved for a technical examination.

There were no injuries reported and investigations are ongoing
