There's huge disappointment and worry in the hospitality sector about the decision to postpone the reopening of indoor dining on July 5th

A Roscommon businessman says he can't understand what figures the government have been given to back up the decision to postpone indoor dining and drinking.

Andrew Reynolds who operates his own catering business as well as operating the restaurant at Longford Rugby club says he can see no sense behind the plans to postpone the re-opening planned for July 5th.

The Rooskey native says he would like to see real proof that indoor dining has led to any kind of increase in cases when it was allowed last year.

Andrew Reynolds says he thinks the decision will lead to far more dangerous situations at other food outlets across the country in the coming weeks.
