A Roscommon company which has won a €20,000 euro investment from InterTrade Ireland says they hope to create up to 40 jobs over the next three years.

Positive Carbon, based in Kilteevan were crowned Best New Start company at the Connacht & Leinster regional final of the Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition at the weekend.

Established in May 2020 by Mark and Aisling Kirwan, the new company provides technology for companies to allow them track food waste.

The aim is to help businesses save food and money.

Aisling Kirwan says while they have suffered a knock back with the closure of hotels this year, they're optimistic that the next few years will see a major expansion of their business ...
