Roscommon business gets greenlight for solar panel installment

A large business in Roscommon has been granted planning permission for major works on its site.

Cubis Systems limited applied to remove the existing roof on it's factory with an area of 2,300 square metres in September of last year

Included in the application was the installation of a new integrated Solar Panel System with a total of 687 panels.

This would replace the 2,300 square meter roof section.

The application also included the installation of new roof lights and all other associated site works.

Roscommon county planners granted the application with 6 conditions attached
