Roadworks due to begin in Roscommon Town later this month

Significant road works are due to begin on a major Roscommon town route later this month.

The works on the circular road will begin on the 25th of September for approximately 4 weeks.

The resurfacing will take place between the Walshes roundabout and the Liam McNeill roundabout.

Works will take place at night to reduce the impact on motorists.

Local Councillor Marty McDermott is warning those using the road at night to allocate extra time to their journeys during the works.
