Gardaí in County Westmeath recently stopped a motorist for transporting a dangerous 4 ton load on a triple axle trailer. The Delvin Roads Policing unit found the driver to be a novice with no plates displayed, and they also had no license for the trailer. Gardaí also found the trailer was not coupled correctly and had no ID plates.

Meanwhile, Gardaí have reminded motorists not to park in disabled bays after the Roscommon Roads policing found a van parked across two bays in Roscommon town recently. A Fixed Charge Penalty Notice was issued to the driver.
