12.5 million euro in tax settlements have been recorded by the Revenue Commissioners for the second quarter of the year.
They relate to 12 cases on the tax defaulters list.
10 of the cases were for amounts exceeding 100,000 euro, while 2 cases exceeded 1 million euro.

As at the end of June, more than 10 million euro of the amount hadn't been paid.
In the period between the 1st of April 2022 and the 30th of June, 69 cases were brought before a court with a total of 194, 982.00 euro worth of fines given out.
2 men from the Roscommon area were charged with misuse of marked mineral oil, otherwise known as green diesel.

They were each issued fines of 2,500 euro.
