Reduced outpatient capacity at Portiuncula University Hospital

Portiuncula University Hospital has advised of reduced capacity at their outpatient waiting area.

This is due to necessary building works being carried out at the site.

In a statement to Shannonside FM, the hospital has asked that patients come to their appointments alone.

Only patients who require assistance should be accompanied.

The hospital apologises for the inconvenience and notes that the works are vital to improving the facilities and capacity of the hospital.
