Businesses and Households in Leitrim Village should be covered by their insurance after Sundays Tornado. That's according to Jonathan Hehir of insuremyhouse.ie after there had been fears that insurance companies may not pay out due to the freak nature of the event.
Speaking to the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Jonathan explained how the Act of God exclusion policy isn't being enforced in Ireland. He also added that he doesn't believe that insurance companies will take into account Sundays weather event when people in the area are looking to re-insure their properties:
