A man accused of the murder of a woman in Galway has been found dead at Castlerea Prison.
Ali Sohrabi was accused of killing Masoumeh Jafri Manojan near an IPAS centre in Galway in May.
The Irish Prison Service confirmed the death of a person in custody at Castlerea today.

In a statement it says 'all deaths in custody are investigated by the Irish Prison Service, the Office of the Inspector of Prisons and the Gardai, where the circumstances warrant.'
The cause of death is determined by the Coroner’s Office.
