President of Ireland is to visit region next week

The President of Ireland is to visit Carrick-on-Shannon next week.

Catherine Connolly is to attend a TidyTowns event to mark the town's success.

The Leitrim town was named Ireland's Tidiest Town for 2025 as well as Ireland's Tidiest Small Town.

This year's competition was launched by Minister Dara Calleary in March.
