President Michael D. Higgins is amongst many paying tributes today to Environmentalist Michael Ewing who passed away on Tuesday.
President Higgins praised the work the Roscommon man did in the Irish Environmental Network which brought together 32 environmental non-governmental organisations.
The Minister for the Environment and Green Party leader Eamon Ryan also paid tribute to Michael, saying he was a giant of the Irish Environmental movement in many influential roles.
