A local hospital has officially opened a bereavement room in its maternity unit.
Portiuncula University Hospital designed the room to provide support for families.
The 'Willow Suite' will provide a private environment in which grieving parents will be sensitively cared for.

The suite is a single occupancy room with shower and bathroom facilities, including an equipped kitchenette, Bluetooth speakers, oil diffusers and colourful artwork on the walls.
The room overlooks the hospital gardens, where a seating area around a willow tree will soon be completed to give families a quiet space outdoors.
The project was funded by the National Infants and Women's Health programme.
