A walk in vaccination clinic for the Covid-19 booster jab will be held in Leitrim tomorrow for people over 60.
Anyone over the age limit who received their 2nd Covid vaccine dose on or before the 2nd of July is invited to attend the Carrick on Shannon Primary Care Centre tomorrow.
The clinic will be open tomorrow from 9 to 5 PM at the centre in Townparks, with walk in booster vaccines available today for healthcare workers.
Those availing of the service are asked to bring photo ID and their PPS number.
A similar clinic held in Longford over the weekend saw 400 jabs given to over 60s over the course of a day.
Saolta General Manager for the rollout of the vaccination programme in the West and North West, Frank Harburn, says the walk in centres are quite popular and has asked the public for patience if queues develop.
