Plans for derelict Granard houses to be knocked for new housing development

The four derelict houses will be knocked to make way for 8 single story homes.

Planning permission is being sought for a new housing development in a North Longford Town.

Bernard Farrell has lodged an application with Longford County Council for the demolition of a 4 disused homes on the Tromra Road in Granard Town.

He's seeking to construct 8 fully serviced single story semi detached houses on the site of the derelict dwellings.

Plans call for the formation of a new service road, connections to services and all associated works.

County planners will decide on the application in August.
