Planning sought for North Longford School extension

A well known Longford National School has lodged planning permission for a new extension.

St. Patrick's Killeen National School in Muckerstaff Granard is seeking permission to construct the new build on the southern side of the existing school.

The plans include an 80 square metre mainstream classroom, a user assisted toilet and new entrance lobby to link the extension to the school.

Also included in the development is a first floor storage space, internal access stairway and all associated site works.

Longford County Planners will decide on the application in January.
