Planning refused for proposed new housing in Roscommon

Planning permission has been refused for 65 new houses at Lisnamult in Roscommon town. The houses would have been part of an ongoing development by Glenman Corporation Ltd.

The application was part of works to complete a previously approved housing development at the site. County planners refused the permission under four conditions. These included traffic concerns on the N63, concerns around access the site via the existing Abbeyville housing development and issues with the zoning of the development.
