The wind turbines would be 150 metres in height.

Planning permission is being sought for the construction of 2 wind turbines in North Roscommon.

An application submitted by Curlew Energy Ltd is seeking clearance from county planners to building the turbines in townslands including Leam, Ballybaun, Grange Beg and others near Boyle in the north of the county.

The development would consist of two wind turbines with a blade tip height of 150M, a permanent 80m meteorological mast and the associated hard stands, site service roads and several kilometres of under and over ground cabling.
