Planning permission has been lodged for a major housing development in Newtownforbes.
Developers are hoping to partially demolish Bohan's Bar and to convert the rest of the pub into accommodation.
J&R Maynooth Ltd has applied to Longford County Council to develop 17 homes on site as well as internal access road and a green open space,

The application is lathe latest attempt to create a new housing estate at the site of the former pub after a previous application was approved by the Council but an objection was upheld by An Bord Pleanala late last year.
Longford County planners are due to make a decision by the 8th of November.
