Permission granted for 36m high telecommunications pole in Roscommon

Roscommon County Planners have greenlit the construction of a 36m telecommunications mast in Flagford.

The development from ESB Telecoms Ltd will see a 36 metre free-standing lattice tower with associated antennae, dishes and cabling at the existing ESB substation in the area.

Permission has been granted with 8 conditions attached.

These include that the mast be removed at the developer's expense within 6 months of permanent cessation of operations.
