A Traveller representative group says all members of society, not just Travellers need to live within the public health guidelines and Level 5 restrictions.

Video evidence has emerged of a funeral that took place in St Coman’s Cemetery in Roscommon town on November 6th, where it appeared that several hundred members of the Traveller community attended.

There also appeared to be few people wearing masks with little or no social distancing.

Martin Collins from Pavee Point Traveller Centre says that while Travellers need to take responsibility on this issue, members of the settled community are also falling short:
