Vaccination certs will still be required.

Airline passengers heading to the United States no longer need to provide a negative Covid-19 test before departure.

The requirement expired this morning, after heavy lobbying from airlines and the travel industry.

However, passengers will still need to provide evidence of vaccination.

Eoghan Corry of Air and Travel Magazine, says the requirement had been putting off American tourists who wanted to holiday in Ireland.
