Around 650 athletes are set to take part in the 11th annual Roscommon 10-mile race this morning.
The race, which is organised by the Roscommon Harriers Athletics Club, starts at 11 o'clock from Hannon's Hotel.
Runners from all over the country will take starter's orders with cash prizes up for grabs.
There will be road closures on the route which takes place along the Galway Road and Mote Park.
